Bishop Robert Earl Harris & Elect Lady Elder Susan Harris
Bishop Robert Earl Harris, Pastor of Miracle Temple Church for All People in Burlington NC and Emmanuel Church, Martinsville VA. His life is dedicated to living by example and encouraging men and women how to live up to their full potential in Christ.
Bishop Harris heard the voice of the Lord in 1989 telling him “It’s time to come in.” Obeying God’s voice, he attended a Christmas program and asked the Lord if this was the place? He later joined Miracle Temple, Elon, NC under the leadership of the late Dr. Juanita West.
God saw his faithfulness and desire to do his will which resulted in being ordained as an elder in 1993. In 2004, he was elevated to the office of Bishop. His care and love for souls enabled him to operate in the absence of the Pastor for many years. In 2014, Bishop Harris was installed as the Pastor of 2 Churches: one in Burlington, NC and Martinsville, VA.
Elder Susan Harris has devoted her life to God and to work closely with her husband by empowering, inspiring, motivating and strengthening the Body of Christ in Spirit and in Truth.
Elder Susan began attending Miracle Temple Church in Elon NC in 1989 and later joined alongside her husband the now Bishop Robert E Harris under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Juanita West. She sang in the choir and then established a gospel group called the Miraclettes.
Elder Susan accepted her public call to the ministry in 2017. She was licensed and ordained as an Elder in 2018.
Elder Susan has a true love for children. With that love she and her husband sought the Lord on becoming foster parents.
Bishop Harris served on The Board of Executive Elders under the Morris Cerullo World Evangelism Ministries as well as The Temple of the Living Epistle Inc. in Washington DC.
Bishop Harris has been married to his high school sweetheart for 42 years, Elder Susan Harris. They are the proud parents of three biological children, five adopted children, five grandchildren and now their adopted children have brought 4 more grandchildren to the union. They have fostered over 60 children and continues to provide that service to Alamance County DSS.
